CERN visit

We plan to have our annual student visit to CERN also in 2019.

Our last trip took place from 10 to 12 October 2018 and all students (40 in total) shared a bus to get to Geneva and back. All students will stay in a youth hostel in Lausanne. Bus, hostel and visit expenses were covered by the Faculty of Physics. Students had to cover expenses for food and drinks themselves.

We gave out places (40 in total) on a 'first come, first served' basis (preference on students in EM2 and/or bachelors in the group)! Only students registered at the Faculty of Physics at LMU Munich could take part in this trip.

As we were crossing the border to Switzerland/France, students had to bring their ID card or passport onto the trip.

The data collected was only used to register the trip and all participants with the faculty as well as CERN Visit Service, and to communicate with participants.
